compromise the well-being of our planet. As a family-run business, we design our everyday essentials using 100% sustainable, natural materials like bamboo and organic cotton, making sure our products remain entirely plastic-free.
But our commitment to the environment goes beyond our materials. Since 2022, we have partnered with CleanHub to help protect marine ecosystems by stopping plastic waste before it ever reaches the ocean. Through this collaboration, we actively fund waste management systems in pollution hotspots across regions like India, Tanzania and Indonesia, preventing waste from entering the environment and supporting the coastal communities hardest hit by plastic pollution.

We chose to work with CleanHub because they mirror our own dedication to honesty, transparency, and real, measurable impact. Instead of focusing on recovering plastic once it is already floating in the sea, CleanHub addresses the crisis where it matters most: on land. Their digital track-and-trace system records and verifies every single pound of plastic collected.
This provides us with concrete, verifiable evidence that waste is being intercepted, sorted, and safely disposed of. Furthermore, CleanHub’s waste-recovery programs create dignified jobs, offering fair pay, training, and safer working conditions to uplift local communities while they clean up the planet.
CleanHub’s Recent Milestones
Since we joined forces in 2022, CleanHub has achieved incredible milestones across the globe. In 2025 alone, they expanded their reach by opening two new vital collection hubs: one in Jepara, Indonesia, and another in Mathura, India.
The Clean Mathura project marks a massive step forward as CleanHub’s first-ever river initiative and their largest to date. By intercepting plastic inland at the Yamuna River - one of India’s most important yet heavily polluted waterways - CleanHub is stopping waste before it ever gets the chance to flow out to sea.
Where the Impact Happens: Meet the Collection Hubs
We are proud to support CleanHub’s global network of dedicated collection sites. To give our community a clearer picture of the change we are creating together, here is a closer look at some of the hubs we support:
- Clean Mathura (India): Operating along the sacred yet heavily polluted Yamuna River, this massive inland initiative intercepts plastic at the source before it can journey downstream to the ocean.
- Clean Kerala (India): To date, CleanHub operates in this region in Konad, Kasaragod, and Thamarassery. These women-led waste management systems turn plastic pollution into safe jobs, clean villages, and circular solutions.
- Clean Dar es Salaam (Tanzania): Supporting one of Africa's fastest-growing coastal cities, this hub funds the collection and safe processing of non-recyclable plastic across the city, intercepting waste that would otherwise be dumped or burned openly in nature.
- Clean Bali (Indonesia): The collection system for this hub is built around villages and a network of community-embedded "waste banks." Operating like a savings account for waste, residents bring in sorted plastic, the amount is recorded in a personal "waste savings book," and payouts happen periodically. Most of these waste banks are run by women, making them incredible hubs for both environmental action and female empowerment.
- Clean Jepara (Indonesia): One of CleanHub's vital new expansions, this hub targets central Java's coastline, establishing robust waste management systems in a heavily underserved area.
- Clean La Barrita (Guatemala): Nestled along the Pacific coast, this hub empowers a vibrant local community to protect their beautiful beaches and mangrove forests from plastic inundation.

Thanks to our amazing community, our collective efforts have truly added up. Since launching our partnership in 2022, Misona has successfully funded the collection of 9,113 lbs of plastic waste.
